She trained us on all aspects of QB's, very patiently, I might add. She cleaned up our accounts, straightened out item lists and merged customer and vendor accounts for us, then taught us how to do it ourselves. Marcia made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond anything I expected her to help me with. She helped me reorganize my format so that it was more understandable, not only for me but for our bonding company as well. She was able to explain why something was not balancing correctly, rather than simply doing it for me. After encountering harmful files on my computer, Marcia went out of her way to connect with the QuickBooks Technical Department. After a short time, the files were found and removed. I never fully understood all of the features and benefits, of Quick Books, until Marcia tutored me. I am still, extremely impressed on her knowledge and understanding, of not only Quick Books, but also her Bookkeeping and Accounting Knowledge as well. My old version of Quick Books was very out of hand, and when I contacted Marcia, we agreed that I needed to upgrade to the new version, and reconstruct my Quick Books. Marcia started at the beginning, by giving me a quick class on the fundamentals of accounting, which made everything more clear and easier to understand. Once we had everything setup and in place, I found the convenience of having Marcia connect to my Quick Books through Remote Access invaluable in her assisting me with any hurdles I encountered. After doing our own bookkeeping and taxes many times over, it was evident we were in need of someone to perform a review of our books and do adjustments so that our entries properly conformed for presentation and GAAP. Marcia is quick, accurate, and very competent. She was the first one to respond out of the three inquiries that were put out and on a Sunday no less. At the time, we were living in... read moreWe found Marcia in 2013 through the QuickBooks® ProAdvisor site on Intuit®'s website. At the time, we were living in Pennsylvania. Due to our circumstances from living abroad, we needed to back-file taxes from 2005 through 2010 for our corporation. There were only three ProAdvisor in the area where we lived. Marcia was the first to respond of the two that were contacted. I had read the comments on the ProAdvisor site that were available and Marcia's were very positive; the others didn't seem to have any comments nor feedback that I recall from that time period.

The challenge was this: Because we had lived abroad and had a foreign corporation because of self-employment, foreign taxes, foreign accounting records to be adjusted for US tax purposes, along with exchange rates, and foreign software to maintain those records, it leaves one to ask: Who's going to work with us?

Well, the answer to that question above was Marcia Cardone. Marcia worked with our QuickBooks® Canadian Edition and also worked in conjunction with the accounting firm we had contracted with to help with our foreign taxes for US reporting purposes. Marcia met that challenge head-on, especially with working with Canadian Edition of QuickBooks®. She worked to adjust our records based on the recommendations provided by the CPA firm to have our records adjusted and cleaned up.

To this day, even though we no longer live abroad and do have an S-Corp, Marcia continues to do our QuickBooks® work once a year. For the outstanding knowledge, service, and years of experience Marcia has, there is no reason to go find anyone else.

We are so thankful that Marcia was willing to take on what needed to be done three years ago. She brought much order and sanity to an otherwise insane, unpredictable, and worrisome time period. read less
